This is not just a HTML editor but an entire suite of tools to aid in the creation of cutting-edge web sites. The brilliant features of Hotmetal is javascript commands, applets, anssupport for dynamic HTML. But there is a disadvantage to this, all these new features are the latest technological advances on the web, so people only using Internet Explorer 4 will be able to benefit from it.
There are other mayjor bugs also, when tables are created they are unproportional to what is actually seen when the page is published on the web.But Hotmetal has the best frame editor that I have ever seen, the frame editor has been greatly improved from earlier versions.
There is also a very impressive feature, the ability for Hotmetal to make incredible databases, it can even tearn databases into web pages.
Hotmetal Pro also has an extra package called PhotoImpact SE, this allows users to create their own buttons and backgrounds with ease.
Their is also a very good GIF animation package which I found very useful and I was able to produce a whole number of impressive GIF files.
When ordering the CD there is over 4000 pictures, buttons and backgrounds.
